When an all-aluminium armored entrance makes sense
A practical overview of corrosion resistance, reinforced construction, finish flexibility and the questions to resolve before specification.

Material character
An all-aluminium armored entrance can be a useful starting point where corrosion resistance, dimensional stability and finish flexibility are priorities. The aluminium outer construction avoids the rust concerns associated with untreated ferrous surfaces and can suit humid or coastal applications when the complete finish and hardware package is selected for that environment.
Security is a complete-system decision
The word “armored” should not be treated as a performance result on its own. Reinforcement, lock body, locking points, hinges, frame anchorage, glazing and installation determine how the complete entrance performs. Ask for the construction drawing and the test or classification relevant to the destination market.
Comfort and appearance
Insulated core materials, multiple seals and a thermally considered frame can support acoustic and thermal objectives. Surface treatments, relief patterns, timber-look finishes and hardware can then be coordinated with contemporary, classical or region-specific architecture.
Before quotation, share the opening size, exposure conditions, preferred configuration, finish, locking requirement and applicable local standard. The final proposal should identify which claims apply to the selected assembly.
