Why EPIN TOMCIM Starts with the Building Envelope
The thinking behind a brand built around quieter, more thermally considered and architecturally integrated entrances.

The entrance is more than a boundary
An entrance is touched every day, but it is also part of the building envelope. Its frame, leaf, threshold, seals and installation interface can influence air leakage, surface temperature, sound transmission, security, durability and the way the architecture is perceived.
EPIN TOMCIM was developed around one question: can a high-end entrance be defined by useful engineering, controlled manufacture and considered design rather than by price positioning alone?

What the brand set out to challenge
- Performance language without configuration-specific evidence.
- A decorative door leaf selected separately from the surrounding architecture.
- Customisation without drawings, samples or manufacturing controls.
- A low headline price that conceals reduced materials, hardware or service scope.
- A premium label that adds cost without adding reviewable value.
A system-led response
The current product platform combines thermally considered frame strategies, insulated and reinforced leaf constructions, multi-stage sealing, selected hardware and project-specific finishes. Not every feature belongs in every door. The relevant construction is selected from the project brief and then confirmed through drawings, samples and evidence.
Design and performance should meet
A quieter or more thermally considered entrance still has to belong to its setting. Proportion, surface, hardware, operation and surrounding panels are therefore resolved alongside the technical construction. The intention is controlled flexibility: enough structure for reliable production and enough design range for different homes and projects.
High-end does not have to mean unexplained cost
Standard production controls, reusable technical details and modular options can reduce avoidable complexity. The saving should come from a clearer process, not from an invisible reduction in the approved specification.
For international projects
The export conversation starts with destination requirements. Climate, exposure, opening size, local standards, installation responsibility, hardware, access control and commercial volume all affect the proposal. EPIN TOMCIM's role is to map those requirements to a controlled entrance configuration and identify where new testing or local professional review is required.
